The Idaho Horse Council, a non-profit association, is composed of organizations across the state involved in the equine industry. In 1999, the council’s Board of Directors voted to fund up to three scholarships annually. Scholarships are being offered for the current school year for graduates of Idaho High Schools.

The IHC reserves the right to vary the number of scholarships awarded based on the entries as scored by the judges, and funds available.

It is to each applicant’s advantage to submit a complete, neat, accurate, and informative application because of the competition and skills of all applicants. Copies of email correspondence are not acceptable. Please follow instructions. The primary cause of disqualification is not following instructions.

Scholarship applications must be received at the Idaho Horse Council office not later than close of business April 15, 2025. Scholarship applications may be either mailed to 16114 Idaho Center Blvd. #5, Nampa, Idaho 83687, or hand delivered to the Idaho Horse Council office during regular office hours and received on or before April 15, 2025.

Scholarship recipients will be announced on May 3, 2025.
